Nyeri is a central-highlands town between Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Range. It is a practical Home Base for the Aberdare forests and high moorlands, the farms and historical landscapes of Nyeri County, and the wildlife country opening north toward Laikipia. From here, Journeys lead to mountain peaks and waterfalls, Chinga Dam, Mau Mau heritage, the Italian War Memorial, Nyeri Hill Farm, the Baden-Powell historical gardens, and the rhino-conservation landscape of Solio.
