The prominent grave stands within historical gardens and a cemetery, with interpretation focused on Baden-Powell and the Scouting and Guiding movements. Paxtu Cottage is a separate site elsewhere in Nyeri and should not be confused with the grave.

The historical gardens are close to central Nyeri and can be reached by a very short walk or drive from the Home Base map point.
