Safari from Gqeberha

Gqeberha is the long-distance gateway for Addo and the lower Sundays River, connecting the Eastern Cape circuit with air travel and the N2.

It provides a clear arrival and departure point without presenting the city itself as a wildlife destination.

Allow for city traffic, changing weather, and park gate times when planning a same-day connection.

SANParks advises using the N2 toward Colchester for Matyholweni Gate, or continuing through the N10 and Paterson for Main Camp, rather than approaching on the R335 through Motherwell.
