Voi is the road-and-rail gateway between the two Tsavo parks and the natural service stop before entering Tsavo East from the west.
The town sits on the Nairobi–Mombasa corridor near Tsavo East's Voi Gate, with fuel, supplies, overnight options, and Standard Gauge Railway access.
Allow daylight for park arrival. Rain and park-road conditions can change transfer times even when the highway section is clear.
The circuit reaches Voi from Tsavo West, then follows the short town approach to Tsavo East's Voi Gate.
