Drive west from Nanyuki to the signed visitor approach for Rongai Gate. Ol Pejeta currently describes the trip as roughly 40 minutes from Nanyuki; allow more time for stops, weather, and the final all-weather road. Advance booking is recommended and entry fees apply.

Best time: Open year-round. Dry periods can make wildlife viewing and internal driving easier, while green seasons bring lusher scenery. Current published hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, but confirm them when booking.
