Reach the park by arranged light aircraft, or by strongly seasonal road access from the Great North Road through Mano Gate. An eastern approach includes a Luangwa River pontoon.
Best time: The main road-access and Safari season runs through the dry months, generally June or July to October. Many routes become impractical during the rains.
