Massingir is Limpopo National Park's eastern service gateway, beside the reservoir and the road onward through Gaza Province.
It is the practical transition between the slow Giriyondo park track and the much longer public-road transfer toward Zimbabwe.
Road and river conditions vary sharply with rain. Current park, border, fuel, and road information should be confirmed locally.
The Giriyondo-Massingir track is unpaved and slow. From Massingir, the route to Sango leaves the park system and uses ordinary public roads through Mozambique.
